About Funds Transfer Items
Each funds transfer initiated by Mint contains multiple individual items that make up the total transfer amount.
These items represent the specific business transactions or adjustments that are being settled.
Transaction Items
- Individual VT (Virtual Terminal) transactions processed through Mint's payment system
- Each item contains a complete transaction object with customer details
- Includes both purchases and refunds processed through the VT system
- Contains full transaction history including payment method, amounts, and customer information
This granular breakdown allows merchants to:
- Understand exactly what transactions are included in each settlement
- Access complete customer and transaction details for each item
- Reconcile individual purchases and refunds with full context
- Perform detailed financial analysis and reporting with customer data
Example: A single funds transfer of $2,500 might contain 15 transaction items representing
individual customer purchases and refunds, each with complete transaction and customer details.
